Mad Heroes

DCU + Mad Men = Mad Heroes. The characters from the DCU are no longer crimefighting superheroes, but instead an advertising firm known as Wayne Prince Kent. Their office has an ever-expanding roster of account executives, creative staff, and teenaged interns who are all familiar faces in the DCU. Wayne Prince Kent's rival ad agency is Avengers Inc. Naturally.

la-pousois Asked:
Hahaha perfect. Any other comments about his clothes? I was actually wondering what color exactly his pants and shirt were, what color belt he wears, any other accessories, etc?

My answer:

Admittedly I haven’t thought about his design in a while, so I just have to refer to what I drew! His pants are sort of a grey-blue color (though more blue-ish could always work to play up the Blue Beetle-ness), while his under shirt is a light, baby blue, and his sweatervest is blue with black accents. His glasses are horn-rimmed and yellow in color, and while he doesn’t have a belt, I’d assume it’d probably be black in color with a yellow belt buckle.

Hope that helps!

I'm kiiiiind of putting together a cosplay of your Ted Kord, and I was wondering what kind of shoes does he wear?

My answer:

Wow, really? Awesome! I pictured him wearing brown wingtips or loafers, to accent his more…dorky attire.

My answer:

Wow, that’s so nice of you to say—thank you so much! :)

I figured I could kill two birds with one stone and draw Avengers fanart and start updating Mad Heroes again.

I should just draw Boostle Valentines every year.

Since now it’s officially Valentine’s Day…

((Hi folks. Since I’m now knee-deep in grad school, Mad Heroes will probably be taking a bit of a hiatus. If you have an ideas, though, feel free to drop them in the ask box—I still have a few from last time that I’d like to do and whenever I get a free moment, they’re good for practice/leisure drawing time.

Thanks to everyone for following! I’ll keep you posted.))

The conclusion to the previous Jaime and Skeets sketch/comic.

((I swear my next picture should just be everyone in a board meeting so I can assure you the people in this office actually do work sometimes.))
