Mad Heroes

DCU + Mad Men = Mad Heroes. The characters from the DCU are no longer crimefighting superheroes, but instead an advertising firm known as Wayne Prince Kent. Their office has an ever-expanding roster of account executives, creative staff, and teenaged interns who are all familiar faces in the DCU. Wayne Prince Kent's rival ad agency is Avengers Inc. Naturally.

I figured I could kill two birds with one stone and draw Avengers fanart and start updating Mad Heroes again.

My answer:

Ahh, thanks very much! I have a feeling once Mad Men starts up again (soon!) I’ll be pretty inspired to start posting stuff on this comm again. :)

I should just draw Boostle Valentines every year.

Since now it’s officially Valentine’s Day…

((Hi folks. Since I’m now knee-deep in grad school, Mad Heroes will probably be taking a bit of a hiatus. If you have an ideas, though, feel free to drop them in the ask box—I still have a few from last time that I’d like to do and whenever I get a free moment, they’re good for practice/leisure drawing time.

Thanks to everyone for following! I’ll keep you posted.))

The conclusion to the previous Jaime and Skeets sketch/comic.

((I swear my next picture should just be everyone in a board meeting so I can assure you the people in this office actually do work sometimes.))

Mr. Carter does not pay his long-suffering secretary, Skeets, nearly enough for all his trouble.
(Oops, it kinda looks like Jaime had the door slammed on him, rather than him bolting out and slamming it himself.)
I had a few requests for Boostle and/or Jaime so I decided to make a short comic…and apparently am saving the actual Boostle for punchline, since I didn’t sketch that part yet.
I tell myself I color sketches so I can work out my colors, but I think it’s just because I’m impatient.

I’d like to later on do a full-body profile picture of a few (if not all) of all the characters in the Mad Heroes AU, but until then…anyone have any requests? I obviously can’t draw them all, but having some ideas to choose from would be good practice.

Ask box is open!
